The Wait for Low Tide Is Excruciating

Some days it seems as though low tide can be the most uncooperative thing in the whole world. Especially when Little Baby Sweet Sweet wants to go explore. This day last week was perfect for little footsteps in the sand and excited gasps at crashing waves.

Puddle Stompers

Today was a glorious day. The sun was shining, the rain stayed away, and the wind wasn't blowing. The baby girl and I went out for a walk for about an hour. We spent a good part of it in puddles from the receding snowpack. There is something very uplift about stomping in puddles with a toddler. I recommend it to everyone.
